Sparrow Square is a Seven (7) acre, nine hundred (900) unit, ten (10) building redevelopment project of a portion of the Kings County Psychiatric Center. The project is located in central Brooklyn adjacent to Kings County Hospital. The project is presently conceived to have approximately nine (900) hundred units comprising of mixed income family units, shelters, affordable homeownership units and senior units. Additionally, the buildings will surround a park located within the center of the development accessible to the surrounding neighborhood at various points around on the site. Almat Urban is developing the project jointly with our development partners Douglaston Development, Breaking Ground, Jobe Development and the Velez Organization. The project is currently in pre-development and scheduled 4Q2024.
